#5 is not "She Wore..." The movie certainly would be in his top 5 but I consider it to be a Western, not a war movie. Actually, the picture is from a movie that many would be consider a Western, but it is set in the Civil War.
5. The Horse Soldiers (a relatively obscure John Wayne title to say the least. Four movies playing cavalry officers is quite enough for one career I should imagine).
